Traditional cement replacement materials

Quality Square Chemicals Trading LLC is a professional supplier of Traditional cement replacement materials such as Micro silica, Fly Ash, GGBS , MetaKaolin and Natural Pozzolan.

Our Products.

GGBFS is powder Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag that when used in concrete it reacts with Ca (OH) 2 to form an additional binder – CSH, which significantly turns down its permeability. The reduced permeability resists chloride attack and carbonation infusion. Use of GGBFS reduces Portland cement consumption in concrete, resulting in decreased embodied energy, decreased greenhouse gases and use of virgin materials. In addition, GGBFS contains no C3A, which makes the resultant concrete less reactive to sulfates and chemically stable. Addition of GGBFS  to concrete will improve mostly all its characteristics, like impermeability, compressive strength, etc., and most of all, its durability.

Fly Ash is a residue of coal combustion that occurs at power generation plants. Fly ash is the finest coal combustion product generated during the burning of pulverized coal for power generation. Consisting of small particles of inorganic minerals, Because of its mineral chemistry, particularly rich in silica, it normally exhibits pozzolanic and sometimes cementitious behavior. It is, therefore, an important (cost-reducing) additive in cement.  Fly Ash meets the chemical and physical requirements of ASTM C 618 class F; ACI 232 .2R-03

Microsilica is high pozzolanic activity densified Microsilica for concrete and mortar.  Microsilica meets the chemical and physical requirements of ASTM C1240.  Microsilica should help in increasing the resistance of concrete to Chloride ions attack BUT it is not the only factor which affecting this feature. Using a low w/c ratio and the most proper value of fine materials accompanied with a high pozzolanic reactivity material are the main parameters which influencing the concrete resistance to chloride ions attack.
